K-2 Potassium is indicated for use in conditions of potassium deficiency including leg cramps, fatigue and abnormal blood pressure. A diet low in potassium and high in sodium is associated with high blood pressure. Many studies show that increasing dietary potassium intake can lower blood pressure. Potassium is also important for water balance, acid/base balance, and muscle function. Low potassium is also associated with leg muscle cramping problems.
